HEALTM - Healthy Eating Activity and Lifestyle
The HEALTM program is a fun, motivating, lifestyle modification program that could help you to develop lifelong healthy eating habits and increase your physical activity. Sharing ideas and asking questions is encouraged. It is suitable for anyone who is concerned about their weight or fitness. The HEALTM program will help you to manage your:
The Program: 8 x weekly 1 hour low to moderate intensity group exercise
Who can join? 18+ years of age, anyone concerned about being overweight/obese, anyone diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and anyone at risk of developing type 2 diabetes or heart disease
Cost: $40 (Free for concession card holders)
Starting: 16 April 2013
Location: Vibe Rehabilitation
Further Men’s and Women’s groups will be offered in 2013. Places are limited.

Life for Life
Life for Life is a structured exercise program that is perfect for any age and fitness level. There are 3 levels – Bronze, Silver and Gold. Each one is 8 weeks long, with 2-3 sessions a week.
Everyone receives an assessment and reviews throughout the courses to make sure the exercises are perfect for each person.
Healthy Queanbeyan is sponsoring the next Lift for Life course. The first 8 weeks is FREE to people with a Healthcare card.
When: New Course starts early February 2013

How Much: $5 per session plus assessment costs.

Two new Heartmoves classes supported by Healthy Queanbeyan have started and are keen for new members to join the fun.
Heartmoves is a low to moderate exercise class that is designed to offer safe, fun exercise for people with a pre-existing illness or injury. The classes are tailored to suit the needs of everyone. Heartmoves provides a great opportunity for everyone with any level of fitness to participate and gain benefits.
Heartmoves classes are offered every day in Queanbeyan - see the table below for the one that suits you best.

Parents Cooking Club - Healthy Food, Healthy Family

When: 2 hours every Monday for 5 weeks
What: Each week we will cook and share a meal. During the course we will learn about:
